Valerie Demo » Creative Virginia Wedding Photographer. Creative Virginia Beach Wedding Photographers.

I don’t even know where to begin with this one.
It’s too good for it’s own good.
Jeff and Paulyn know how to throw a wedding and throw a wedding right.
Just about 60 people. Everything RVA-inspired. Plenty of portrait time. Enamel pins as favors. Ice cream breaks.  Libby Hill Park AND Quirk Hotel.
AND the most kickass lineup of vendors around.
For real. No words. Just hundreds of my favorite photos.

BIG GIGANTIC HUGE thanks to Emma from Of Fate and Chaos for second shooting (since the groom just so happens to be my go-to second shooter in RVA).

Three events. Two Days. And just about 1,000,000 moments of happiness.
Sarah and Ankur married at Castle Hill Cider in Keswick, Virginia… actually, technically, they married twice.
One part Indian Wedding Ceremony… One part Western Family Ceremony… and TWO nights filled with  HUGE GIANT DANCE PARTIES.
I love a good dance party… and this was basically two solid days of dancing.
I could get used to being a Virginia Indian Wedding Photographer. Sign me up.

The Sangeet was held Saturday night before the wedding(s) at the Charlottesville Senior Center
and the Baarat, Indian Ceremony and Western Ceremony were all held on Sunday at my most favorite Castle Hill Cider.
Sarah and Ankur requested almost no portraits and really just wanted moments from the entire day… and despite the rain, I think we managed to do exactly that.
I really tried to NOT make this the world’s longest blog post… but it is three ceremonies worth of moments… so, no promises.

BIG GIANT HUGE THANKS TO Steve Dalgetty of the one and only An Endless Pursuit for coming out on Sunday and shooting all day with me on his day off.

Candice and Norman are getting hitched this fall in a big ole giant wedding in Richmond.
I’m talking awesome giant church and a kickass ballroom…
and I’m stoked to be a part of it.
We spent an afternoon in their home and around their favorite spots in Richmond.

This sweet fam. I can’t even. Alicia is a dear friend and super talented photographer.
I stopped by her home to get my Margot snuggles in on the way home after a wedding.
I managed to snap a few photos between all of the catching up.

Chelsea is a really wonderful photographer who I have had the pleasure of getting to know in the last few months…
(Just in time for her to move and leave and go to the other side of the state.)
She wanted this time documented. Her family’s first home.
To remember the moments inside the walls of her home she and her husband loved so dearly.

We played in the hall.
And had a little snack break.
We read books and took a walk and dug in the dirt.
We threw away mulch in the trashcan (because that’s what kiddos do) and laughed together.
The Andersons lived in their home as they did everyday.
And it was perfectly perfect.

Best of luck in western Virginia, Anderson fam.

Brittany and Andy are high school sweethearts.
(And the cutest couple on the face of the planet.)
They were married on their 9th anniversary in Columbia, South Carolina along side their families and friends in Brittany’s dream pink and
gold Cinderella wedding. After their “I do”s in Brittany’s family church… they partied harty at 701 Whaley (which is such a dreamy wedding venue).

So many thanks to Emma from Of Fate and Chaos for shooting with me.

Sometimes things don’t go as planned.
Sometimes you were going to frolic in the river and go fishing and let your dog play in the water and include this sweet activity you love to do in your engagement session.
AND then sometimes you show up and the river is moving super fast, is feet higher than normal, and looks like chocolate milk.
BUT sometimes your engagement session was planned at a pretty nice park anyway… so you just take advantage of it.

I can’t wait for these two to tie the knot surrounded by the mountains of Virginia and all of their favorite people.

You guys. I’m not sure even where to begin.
Lauren and Ryan won my wedding giveaway.
I could not have been MORE thrilled to have been a part of their day.
Palm Trees. A vintage wedding dress. A pretty rad rug for a dance floor…
AND FUNFETTI WEDDING CAKE.
All of the yes.

BIG HUGE GIGANTIC HUGE THANKS to the talented Josh Rigsby for driving to Myrtle Beach to second shoot.
